Today was an interesting day but it ended on a very happy note. It started out kinda crappy with the truck acting all funny (figures, vehicle repairs at the most financially inopportune times) but got better. I fixed a computer problem for someone with the tried and true unplug-wait-replug method. Worked like a charm and I got cash! :)
Then we had company! Ang and Al came over to visit and we had a lot of fun watching Godzilla Final Wars and sitting/standing around the fire with conversation. Lots of awesome! I'm really hoping Ang an Al find jobs and Al can stay up around here. She's really great to hang out with! :D
Kathy and Lonewolf rescued a chipmunk whose hind legs had been somehow injured and are now non-functional. So we're helping it to heal. The reality is, though, by taking it in it now has to stay permanently. It won't be able to live in the wild after staying with us for an extended period of time.
Tomorrow we're playing board games. Weeeeee! Hopefully the truck will get us around and not leave us stranded somewhere. *crosses fingers*
