Did anyone see Ralph Nader on The Daily Show last night? Unfortunately I missed the first bit of it but I thought it was great! I really enjoyed watching Ralph Nader and Jon Stewart interact. I still have no regrets I voted for him twice for President!
As some of you might know, I haven't much affinity for comics, but when I do find a title that interests me it is usually an oddball title or something not entirely mainstream. Geeks and Gamers finally has their entire inventory (100+ long boxes) of backstock out for browsing and I'm glad I flipped through it. I found some interesting and quirky titles to buy. Among them was "Naughty Bits."
"Naughty Bits" was a 40-issue series by Roberta Gregory released 1991 through 2004 and introduced her most popular character ever: Bitchy Bitch. It's a wonderful series that deals with feminist and alternative lifestyle issues. I was particularly pleased when I found in one issue a two-page cameo comic by Donna Barr, the comic artist behind one of my favorite ever series "Hader & The Colonel." If you can get your hands on "Naughty Bits" I highly recommend it. It's a very good read.
