And now, a little tongue-in-cheek: I think Canada should put up a fence on its southern border and say to US citizens, "Stay home, eh. Don't come up here for maple syrup or sausage or beer or to escape your fuckhead President, eh. We don't want you hosers."
But seriously: How long are we going to let our government continue to act with bloodthirsty vengeance on our behalf? The longer it continues the more blood we all have on our own hands. How long will we be the ignorant frogs in the pot of slowly-heating water, readying only to boil to death?
Remember, remember, the seventh of November.

Interestingly enough, Guy Fawkes is remembered annually for this act, however, he was only the guy to finish the job. The only reason it was foiled was because one of the conspirators sent a letter to his friend in Parliament warning him not to show up that day, which raised suspicions and led to a search of the lower storage areas where the gunpowder was stored. Fawkes was found en route to the gunpowder with the supplies needed to ignite the gunpowder.
