My TV tuner card has been shipped and should arrive at the office on Wednesday. Awesome! I can't wait! Once I have it and confirm it works okay I can get rid of stuff, namely the TV, DVD player and most of the stereo. I'll still be keeping the cassette deck, phonograph, VCR and game systems but will be hooking them up through the computer. Next will come (as I ca find the cash to afford them) a surround sound card, better speakers and a data/video projector. But for now I'm happy to merge the computer and entertainment system into one cohesive unit. It makes sense. We listen to all our music on the computer anyhow. Even CDs.
Next week I get my bonus and I've decided to spend $100 of it on myself. So I'll be picking up $100 worth of new games. Woohoo! I've already picked out what I want from Ray's stock, provided it's still there come Friday. If not, no biggie: he has so much that I want it'll be no trouble at all finding a way to spend my money!
The rest is going into fixing up the car and paying bills.
