I just read that Charming Shoppes, Inc., is going to be closing about 150 Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug and Catherines Plus Sizes stores. There hasn't been a list of specific stores released, but apparently the majority of them will be underperforming stores in areas where they have a few stores located close to each other. I hope this means the Fashion Bug up near us will stay open because it's the only of their stores around for many miles (like maybe Concord, I believe). Fashion Bug is about the only place I know right now that has nice clothes in my size that I can actually walk in and try on. Mind you, it's not like I have money to go shopping for clothes right now, but even still it's pretty much the only place.

I guess that's just even more motivation to get my butt in gear and lose more weight.

Oh my God, half the clothes I wear are from Lane Bryant! If they close the outlet in Wrentham I have no idea what I'd do!

Me too! I hope your Lane Bryant stays open, too! I really do like what they have for clothes. Don't they have some awesome stuff? I just wish I could afford to shop for clothes more often.

lol That's a good point! Well... another bright side I suppose is that if they close then you, Kathy and I are likely going to be making one hell of a shopping trip when they have a going out of business sale. ;) At least Kathy and I are considering it...
