1. Take a picture of your bag.
2. Now dump everything out and neatly adjust them, and take a picture [no matter how embarrassing].
3. Talk about the items inside.
4. Tag 6 people.

Well, she asked for it. It's certainly more function than form. Mind you, I have a couple of really cute bags, but neither are big nor functional enough for my everyday needs, so this is what I carry around most days.

Like I said, it's more function than form. It's very utilitarian. It serves its purpose, which is quite crudely to lug my shit around.

1. My big pink wallet. I love this thing! It has everything I need in it, plus a calculator, which I mostly ignore because I'm an arithmetic geek and love crunching numbers in my head.
2. My planner. I may be an arithmetic geek but I can be a bit of a flake, so if I don't write it down on a calendar there's a good chance I'll forget it. Especially with things being as busy as they are these days. My Mom gave this to me and I'm glad she did!
3. It's a blank DVD. I need to burn a couple "archive copies" of a couple of videos for Randy.
4. My work cell and car charger for it. I have to carry this around with me wherever I go, so most of the time it stays in my bag. I keep the car charger handy because for some odd reason it seems more often than not I'm driving when the battery gets low or dies.
5. GONZO! This is a USB flash drive modified to fit in an old Pez dispenser. The flash drive went through the wash and, while the casing broke, the drive still worked. I went for form over function. It's a clunker to carry around and use, but it looks really neat!
6. Pens. Because one never knows when one will have the urge or need to write.

1. My hair brush. My hair is very unruly, so I need to brush it often.
2. My Viva Diva lipcolors. Sarah gave these to me and I love them! I've just about used up a couple of the colors.
3. My L'oreal Color Juice lip gloss. Sadly this shade (pina colada) has been discontinued, so once Rite Aid runs out I'll have to find another shade. :(
4. Lipstick. It's a pink hue that went very nicely with my outfit on marriage day. I threw it in my bag so I could do touch ups and just never took it out.
5. Tide on the go, because I'll admit I am a sloppy eater sometimes. No matter how careful I am, it seems I inevitably get food on my clothes.
6. You never know when you'll need to pull your hair back.
7. These are a couple of neat craft coins that [profile] ciliandis gave us and they somehow took to nesting in my bag. I'm waiting for them to reproduce so I can get certified as a pretty craft coin breeder.
8. A Hulk pin, because Kathy saw it for free at the theater and wanted it, but didn't want to carry/wear it herself.
9. My massive collection of entirely useful keys. Between home, work (both places), and vehicle I have a ton of keys. I even have a key to me parents' house!
10. Random paper clip. I forgot why it was there and promptly put it with the rest on my desk after I took the photo.
11. Kathy's key to our summer apartment. Because my bag has suddenly become hers, too. :P
12. The name and number for our contact about the student apartment (last name and full number removed to protect the innocent).

1. This is the notebook I carry around and use for work a lot.
2. A stack of purchase orders and permission forms in my bag from work yesterday which will now be filed away. Honestly.
3. A key ring with all those annoying discount tags from chain stores. Well, that and my calling card. Actually I think the only discount card I have left is the Borders card, which we actually use.
4. A stack of my business cards for work in case I need to hand them out, as well as one card I collected from someone else on Tuesday which needs to be filed away with the others.
5. Lucky, my lucky iPod that I actually won in a drawing. It goes with me just about everywhere and I listen to this in the car all of the time (well, unless the battery is dead).
UNNUMBERED. I forgot to number my manila folder containing a bunch of documents for my other job. I carry this around a lot, too.

1. Mail. I picked it up from the PO box but haven't dropped it at home because home is in a transitory state at the moment. We technically have two apartments for another four days.
2. This is a lovely assortment of thank you cards that I have yet to hand out but will be handing out soon. The one I needed to mail has been mailed!
3. Book the Ninth in A Series of Unfortunate Events, which I have yet to start because things are so hectic, but my reading times are so sporadic that I figure it's best to always carry it with me so I can read when the timing is right. :)

So there you have it! It's a lot of stuff, but not enough yet to warrant considering it a bag of holding or a miniaturized cloth TARDIS. As for tagging people... I'm not so good at that so if you like the meme and want to do it, feel free to tag yourself in!

Mine was free, too... for me. My employer paid for it because it's for work. ;)

Best of luck with the new job and the move! I'm so excited that the three of you will be back in NH and within driving distance for visits! ^_^
