It seems I have caught whatever Kathy has. The dry, scratchy throat, the runny nose, the chest congestion. Ugh. I think I'm going to try that Airborne stuff that Preston was drinking on Saturday. He says it works really well and I need to do something. Staying home sick is not an option this week with all the meetings that I need to cablecast, so I will have to suffer through it the best I can with as much grace as possible.

If you can find it around you, Emergen-C works much better than Airborne, it also has less sugar.

Airborne works AMAZINGLY. S'great stuff. Also, Vicks makes a greaseless cream now that really helps with the congestion issue. I used to haaaate Vicks as a kid, but I swear by the greaseless stuff.

Hmmm... I don't know if I could get away with wearing Vicks at work and I can't use it at night because of my CPAP, but thanks for the suggestion. I'm weird. I actually used to love Vicks when I was a kid! :P

I don't see why you couldn't have the cream on ... would it be because there's some sort of rule against smelling like menthol-eucalyptus? :P

Okay, point. ;) We'll see how the Airborne helps. I grabbed it in a rush because I couldn't find the Emergen-C to try.

Mostly I'm concerned about people complaining about the smell of Vicks since I'm doing a meeting or two a day this week. These meetings tend to fill up and get hot and smelly real quick.
