1. what song are you listening to now, or did you most recently listen to?
"Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden
2. who gave the best live performance you've ever seen?
Both times I've seen Yes they absolutely blew me away. It amazes me how technically proficient they can remain live and still put on a moving show. They also have beautiful sets! The 20-minute "Yours Is No Disgrace" at The Orpheum was amazing. :D
3. who gave the worst live performance you've ever seen?
Danzig. They played everything exactly as it was on the album and there was no interaction with the audience. Glenn Danzig is a dick.
4. do you have a favorite musician that would surprise people?
I don't think so. I have very broad tastes in music and appreciate just about everything. I think most people who know me know this.
5. do you have a favorite musician that would embarass you?
No. I like what I like. Other people may not like it. Oh well!
6. which two musicians do you want to have hot, passionate sex with?
No thanks.
7. which musicians have you been listening to most lately?
I don't think I've been favoring one over another, but I did recently pull out Tori Amos, Ben Folds Five and Soul Asylum and listen to them a couple of times over.
8. who did your parents listen to while you were growing up?
All kinds of stuff, but mostly what is now considered classic rock.
9. which musicians do people say you resemble?
Meat Loaf.
10. who do you need to see live before you die?
Spin Doctors, Dream Theater and Trans-Siberian Orchestra
11. which musician do you find overrated?
Green Day
12. what were your first three cassettes?
I can't remember for sure, but I do believe they were:
