Fitness Recap
May. 27th, 2007 12:33 amFinally I made my goal of exercising five days this week! I never did find a suitable replacement for the video workout but I'm going to go for it soon. I'm thinking a light weight training session but I have to be careful. I want to achieve very specific goals and avoid bulking up in general, but especially very specific places for very specific reasons.
Sunday: day off (traded for Monday)
Monday: 45 minutes stretching
Tuesday: 40 minutes walking
Wednesday: day off (traded for Friday)
Thursday: 45 minutes stretching
Friday: 40 minutes walking
Saturday: 25 minutes walking
I've been rearranging my stretching routine so I can double up on everything and really target my trouble areas while maintaining the better parts. I've also trimmed out some of the redundancies so I can fit everything into the same amount of time. I also had to cut a couple of stretches because I simply couldn't properly perform them due to my size at the moment. The walk today ended up cut short simply because it was far too buggy. I was getting eaten alive! Still 25 minutes of walking is better than no walk at all.
My goals now are to find a good light weight training routine to do at least once a week and start varying my aerobic activities. Time to pull out the bike!
