So I wonder if the opinion expressed is David Tennant's or the Producer's... or the whole of the fandom. Rar-miu!

That's a good question. I don't really know, but [livejournal.com profile] painted_wolf and I were talking about that last night after watching it. She mentioned she was sure she read an interview or heard an interview with David Tennant before where he mentioned he was a Peter Davison fan. I'm pretty sure as usual the actor gets to develop the style of The Doctor so I wouldn't at all be surprised if it was David Tennant's point of view. It would make sense. At his age, being the fan he is of classic Who, he probably watched Peter Davison as the Doctor growing up.

I do love how Steven Moffat cleverly tied that brief encounter into the ending of the last episode of third season!

I almost want to say that Moffat knew Tenant's opinion on Davison's Doctor, and worked it into the script - because it's true, a LOT of those little things are very Fiveish.

"And look! ... Snap." :D That bit with the glasses was adorkable. Also? They made a crack at the I Am A Villain Beard, win win win.

Yes! I loved the crack at the beard of evil! Being the ever-oblivious person I am, I hadn't realized how much influence 5 had on 10 until watching that. That probably explains why I like 10 as much as 5! lol

I didn't know, either, but now that I'm watching through Five's stuff, I can really, really see a lot of things Tennant's drawn upon.

Though, chickens and eggs, of course. I keep going "OMG, that's such a Ten thing" and having to correct myself. ;D

Pure Awesome in a 7-minute video. :D

Indubitably, though I certainly would have liked to see a full episode with the two. :)

This made me happy in more ways than I can say.

It's like a love note to Dr. Who. What a great homage.

That is perhaps the best explanation of that segment ever! I agree completely! ^_^

I never watched classic Who. I thought the video was good although I think I missed a few jokes not having seen the 5th doctor before.

Oh! Well then... we shall have to rectify that next time we get to visit with each other! :) Or actually... what's your mailing address? Feel free to email it to me. I might be able to help more immediately. ;)
