It's the Second Vermont Republic movement. I think it's an interesting idea. Currently there are 6 states with secession movements: Alaska, Vermont, Hawai'i, California, Washington and Oregon. Washington and Oregon are working together along with British Columbia to for The Republic of Cascadia. SVR is hoping to involve Maine, New Hampshire and the 4 Atlantic Canadian provinces (and possibly Quebec) to form a New Atlantic Confederacy and investigating possible UN membership.
