Today I had a great time hanging out with Ang! We started out with a beautiful walk to the lake and sitting by the docks and chatting. The fire department was out testing their pump truck so it was shooting this really cool jet of water over the lake and leaving a trail of mist.
After that we walked back to the house and played a bunch of games while listening to a live CD of Oingo Boingo. The music was really cool! I had only really ever heard the popular Oingo Boingo stuff like "Weird Science" but I was pleasantly surprised by the rest of their music. We played Trans America and she sufficiently whomped me her first time playing. Yikes! Then we played Castle Keep a couple times and I lost both times. Rough day for me! *laughs* After that we played Sole Mio (a card game about making pizzas) a couple times. The first time it was a little difficult for Ang as she had to learn as we played and I beat her by almost twice the score. The second time we played she beat me. Way to go Ang!
As irony would have it, Ang's parents decided to order pizza for dinner. We had some delicious pizza from Anthony's. We got a small spinach and chicken white pizza to try it and it was very tasty! We also got a sausage and peppers pizza and a "meat lovers" of sorts with ham, sausage, bacon, meatball, pepperoni and chopped garlic. Mmmmmm.
After dinner we tried to fix Ang's computer but I'll have to try again later. It's definitely old. I was surprised, though, to see a Pentium II with a 5.25" hard drive, ISA slots and FireWire (IEEE 1394) ports. Weird! We also had fun going through Ang's cool fabrics, talking about crafts and looking at patterns. Ang gave me some fabric scraps to use for projects and loaned me a really nice pattern.
Thanks very much for a lovely day Ang, for the pizza and for the fabric and use of your pattern! :D
