The ice cream stands are open and black raspberry is readily available. Yummy!

I tried gazpacho for the first time in my life today and I must say I really like it! It's almost like sipping a soupy fresh salsa. Mmmmmmmmm.

I went for my walk this morning as soon as I got up and it was wonderful. It was fresh after a rain so the air was nice and fresh. It was warm but not dreadful or humid so it felt great! I walked down to the waterfall and back in just under forty minutes, which is perfect for now.

Oooooh. Black raspberry, my favorite. *grins* I've never had gazpacho - doesn't that have fish in it, or am I thinking of vichyssoise? I always get those two mixed up. Anyway, if it's the one with the fish, that's probably why I've never had it. ;D

It's still raining on and off down here - there'll be nothing, and then I'll hear it come poooouring down. It's weird, but we're sort of in a weather pocket where we are, so that sort of thing happens a lot.

Nope. Gazpacho is a cold tomato-based soup that's all veggies and herbs. It's very good and a bit spicy.

It's very rainy up our way today. :(

Huh! Why did I think it was a cold fish soup? .... straaange.

The good thing about rainy days, though, is that it makes all the new leaves look flourescent, which is all kinds of pretty.

Indeed! And it means more flowery, leafy things will grow, too. It just puts a crimp on plans to be outdoors. Hopefully we'll have plenty of opportunity for outdoorsy stuff soon and it doesn't turn out to be a season of naught but rain like last year. Yuck!
