painted_wolf (Kathy) and I had a wonderful time yesterday hanging out with

ciliandis(Ang) before Gaming Club. It was a wonderful day and the weather couldn't have been any better!

We started by going to the thrift shop, where we saw some interesting things like the press of some sort that Kathy almost dropped on fragile glassware and the red two-piece fuzzy dress. Ang found a really cool scarf and had to resist the urge to buy it.

Then we played Carcassonne. It was Ang's first time and she severly whomped us. In Kathy's defense, she had to leave the game about 2/3 of the way through for work. I had no excuse. I was soundly beaten. Way to go Ang!

Then Ang and I wandered off so she could get lunch. We sat in the town common for a while just enjoying the weather and conversation. After that we played Totally Renamed Spy Game and realized why it is not really a two player game. It was still fun, but not as much fun as having more players would have been. She shared her dark chocolate kissables and I shared my tropical flavored cola. Oh, and she made some delicious cookies which she shared. Yummy!

After that we pestered Kathy for a bit and i had to wander off for work. I hear word that there were some interesting events in the GURPS game that night...

I had a great day and I'm really looking forward to hanging out with her more on Saturday!
