So remember that uneventful, quiet-time I wrote of so idyllically? Yeah fraking right. Kathy got out of the shower and informed me the tub drain had frozen again. So before I could even shower I first had to drag out the extension cord, heat gun and shovel, dig out the bulkhead, crawl under our bathroom and thaw out the drain pipe. Then since it was such a nice day I decided I needed to take advantage of it and fix my rear blinker. So I spent some time rewiring that. Then in all my excitement I headed straight home without swapping out the videos at PCC3, so I have to go back to do that before 7:30. At the same time during the drive home I realized I had forgotten to grab the two movies we rented that are due today so I have to bring those with me when I return to Plymouth. Plus I still have to go grocery shopping but couldn't since I had gotten all muddy climbing around under the van rewiring my rear blinker.
Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.
Oh well. I'm grateful to have all my lights working again on the van. I'm grateful to be warm and clean again. I'm grateful to no longer have frozen pipes. I'm grateful that I can be fairly self-sufficient and fix these things myself. Some people don't have the skill or motivation to do these things for themselves so I should count my blessings.
And now to write some music reviews! Weeeeeeeeeee!
