RIP Atari 130XE and C64. I'll miss you.
I've had both in storage for a couple years and finally decided to pull themout in hopes of finally following through on my plans to use them in making music. I was going to go all wacky with the bleeps and bloops. Not anymore.
Somehow during their stay in storage they went wonky. Just black screen and funky noise. :(
And I was so looking forward to playing with my tape drive, mostly because I didn't have floppy drive cables for the C64, even though I have two drives.
I'll keep my C64 accessories, though,in hopes I actually pick up another functioning C64 and they still work. I've got a Koala Pad, a tape drive and a couple floppies, as well as a bunch of software.
I doubt I'll ever find another Atari 130XE.
