Did you know you could buy caskets from Costco? That's just plain wrong. And creepy. I guess whatever wholesale retailers can profit from works for them. Business is business. What's next? Costcos in Nevada selling sex at a reasonable discount?

But anyway, what a gorgeous day! I was just outside fixing the mailbox. The lady across the street hit it accidentally the other morning. Her husband, who is an officer in town, was very kind to come out and help me fix it. It was nice to finally meet one of our neighbors. I was concerned that we had been here for omnths and still hadn't really met anyone.

Yesterday was a complete slacker day. Kathy and I stayed inside, didn't bother to get dressed and played with the computers. She spent most of the day playing Arcanum while I was on the iMac downloading abandonware games. I found Crystal Quest and Crystal Crazy! I also found After Dark 4.0 Set 2, which had the really neat little lawnmower game where the old guy shouts "Wrong key!" Steve and I were just talking about this the other day since it was one of my fav games in high school computer club (during my brief time there) on the old Mac SEs. If any of you have Macs running anything but OS X, check out Macintosh Garden for some great classic Mac games. We're talking old school for sure.

We also finished watching Hellsing. What a great series, although just lik Neon Genesis Evangelion I have to say the ending was screwy. Although not as bad as Evangelion. I guess I can understand since the budget was cut on Hellsing and they had no choice but to abruptly end it. But what's the deal with Sir Integral? I won't get into details as not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the whole series yet.

We also watched Short Circuit. I forgot how much I liked that movie. Cheesy, yeah. But fun. It's a good, fun movie.

Yesterday was a good day for getting in touch with friends. Ray called but I missed it. I tried calling him back but got the machine. I'll call him back today. I called JD and got to speak with him for a bit. He was revisiting some of our old songs and wanted to know the progression for "Psychadelic Kiss." I assume his new band will be performing and/or recording it, which is fine by me. Someone may as well use the song and I'm sure as hell not going to rerecord it. It was good for its time but that time has passed. Out with the old and in with the new. I also called up Paul and we're going to get together for lunch and hanging out while I'm all over the state on Tuesday. After the NHCCM meeting that day I'm heading up to Pembroke anyway to purchase some new equipment for PCC3, so I'm going to hang with Paul. Sweet.

Kathy and I didn't finally leave the house until around midnight when we both got a sweet tooth and ran over to the Irving to get chocolate. Mmmm. Chocolate. Oh yeah, breakfast. I should have some. Bye!
