1. The Tick (animated)
2. The Steven Banks Show
3. Kung Faux
4. Doctor Who
5. Venture Brothers
6. The Sifl & Olly Show
1. Who is your favorite character from #2?
That would be either Steven Banks himself or Marianna.
2. Who is your least favorite character from #4?
Oh... that's an easy one. Mel. MOST. ANNOYING. CHARACTER. EVER.
3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include?
You know, that actually just might work better than I had ever imagined! Somehow I could see the villains from The Tick fitting into the Guild of Calamitous Intent so well. And, well, it would be interesting to see how The Tick and Arthur interacted with Rusty and crew. I could almost see American Maid and Dr. Mrs. The Monarch getting along well despite being on opposite sides, or at least having some damn epic fights. I would love to see that!
4. What is your favorite ship from #6?
Sock puppets on a ship? Pfffft.
5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be?
Well, considering there was no real steady cast of characters on Kung Faux and Sifl & Olly was all sock puppets... not likely it would happen. BUT! I don't think I would knowingly set anyone up with Chester. I mean, I feel sorry for him and all, but... no.
6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?
Ummm, totally The Doctor and obviously I would be his companion for the day and do whatever it is that companions do (except scream annoyingly at high volumes like certain carrot-juice drinking companions previously mentioned *cough*MEL*cough*) because that would be awesome.
7. If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change?
Nothing. As much as I wanted to see Steven and Marianna get together, it was that tension that made their relationship work so well.
8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them?
I love the relationship between Dr. Mrs. The Monarch and The Monarch. I like it because he has the usual supervillain aspirations but gets so obsessed over Rusty that he becomes so myopic. She's the brains and makes everything click, and she kicks ass. She also doesn't take his crap. :P
9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credit sequence) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
Well, that's easy. There are no lead characters in Kung Faux so it would be The Tick.
10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose?
I don't think I would. Doctors first. Unless we're talking Sarah Jane or Romana II era Doctor Who. Then either of them would totally come before the Doctor.
11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like, and what would their role be?
I wouldn't change it. Liam Lynch had it right the first time around.
12. What happens in your favorite episode of show #2?
That's tough. I had so many favorite episodes... If I had to pick one, I would say it would be Rock 'n' Roll Auction. Steven Banks starts the episode telling The Beatles Story with various toys and dolls he has kicking around. Then he watches the rock 'n' roll auction on television and bids on what he thinks is John Lennon's guitar. He is also asked fairly early in the episode by his friend Pepper which Monkee he would kiss if he had to and he says Peter Tork. While in line to pick up his winning auction he runs into Peter Tork, who asks him if he wants a kiss, then holds out a paper bag (presumably filled with chocolate kisses). John Lennon's guitar turns out to be Julian Lennon's guitar case, but he finds a lost John Lennon song hidden in the case called "I Miss Paul" (suspiciously similar in soun d to the song Imagine) and has hilarious lyrics about The Beatles and ripping on Yoko. It's great!
13. If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it?
I don't know. I can't really think of any I wouldn't like to see. Maybe Captain Mucilage or The Carpeted Man?
14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5 which would you choose?
Neither really have "sets" because the first is made of clips from old Hong Kong kung fu movies and the other is animated, but if I could visit behind the scenes on either it would totally be Venture Brothers.
"Let your journey into hugeness teach us all a lesson. Absolute power is a sticky wicket. And, Arthur, chum, you were the stickiest. Don't you get it, good friend? Some of the best things come in small packages. But large things can't. Unless they're inflatable, or require some assembly, or unless they're hearts. Yes, giant, juicy, loving hearts. As big as the moon, but much, much warmer." - The Tick
