painted_wolf and I once again spent the evening hanging out at Cicero's listening to
Jim Tyrrell play and guess what we heard and you missed: his debut performance of Borderline. That's right. He covered Madonna and you so totally blew it. It was amazing. You should have been there, whoever you are! :P While we were there we each got a coffee (totally invented the smores mocha au lait) and had these completely decadent little fudgey, chocolatey, toffee-ey, carmeley cake things to die for. ^_^ Jim's performance was wonderful as always and we got to help Mary celebrate her birthday. I have no idea who Mary is but she was very happy and it was her birthday, so good on her! Toward the end of the night they were giving away free ice cream, so you also missed that. *tsktsk* See that? You not only missed Borderline but ALSO the free ice cream. You need to hang out with the cool people more often. ;)
If you're in the Plymouth area and want an excellent, intimate night of caffeine-fueled performance and fun, stop into Cicero's on the first and third Tuesdays every month for Jim's performances. He's a fun guy and a very talented musician. Come on out! Seriously!
