I do mean the campaign. I don't really agree with what you're saying about Obama being a shitty public speaker. I feel he has the right mix of charisma and substance. What really irks me about Clinton is that she just oozes shallowness and insincerity. She has a penchant for lying to make herself seem more impressive, for instance with supposedly always opposing the Iraq war and more recently always opposing NAFTA and being under sniper fire in Bosnia.

On perhaps a more superficial aspect, I'm quite frankly not interested in Bush/Clinton dualing dynasties. It's time for someone to go into the White House that isn't named Clinton or Bush. Let's say Clinton does win. That would be 14 or 18 years of Presidents named either Bush or Clinton in the White House.

1989 - 1993 George H. W. Bush
1993 - 2001 Bill Clinton
2001 - 2009 George W. Bush
2009 - 2013 or 2017 Hilary Clinton ?

Also let's keep in mind that George H. W. Bush was Vice President under Reagan...

I remember Ronald Reagan as President. I remember Iran/Contra and "I don't reacall/remember." I have a vague recollection of Jimmy Carter as President but not enough to say for certain that I remember his presidency. I have no recollection of Gerald Ford as President but he was the President for the first two years of my life. I remember when the Adams' and Roosevelts' presidencies were so amazingly peculiar because they were the only two instances of related Presidents and they were separated by many years.

I see either Obama or Clinton having difficulty with McCain. The reality is that McCain is a Republican that can still buddy up to Bush and come out looking like a champion. It only gets worse when you have McCain now able to campaing as THE Republican while two Democrats bicker like school children, taking personal pot-shots at each other, delaying the ability for a Democrat to get out and start campaigning as THE Democrat, and really doing McCain's job for him. Clinton is behind. I believe the onus is on her to do the right thing and step aside to let the front-runner get out the vote for the Democrats.
