The charity is bridges: A Nashua battered women's shelter and violence center, helping women and families recover from domestic violence and abuse. The shelter provides a safe place, employment assistance, legal assitance and help so that these victims can build new , safe, violence-free lives. They are very supportive of the GBLT community and host a transgender support group.
