Brief Update

I'm relly tired and going to bed after I post this, but this is just a quick post to let you all know that the move is nearly done. We have the storage closet completely cleaned out, only a couple of things in the shed and a couple of things in the laundry room. The bathroom is mostly packed, just have to throw the nail polish and some other stuff in bags and bring them along. We've been showering at the summer place for the past week already anyhow. The closet room has only my dresser and half the hanging clothes left, as well as the suitcases packed full of![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
painted_wolf's clothes. The kitchen is mostly packed save for the food, the table and a few odds and ends. The bedroom has just the bed, the nightstand, another small set of drawers and the stuffed animals. The living room is where we're storing all the boxes waiting to go over (not mahy at this point!) and we still have the computer set up, my guitars need to be packed, some odds and ends, the tray tables and the filing cabinet. Oh, there's also the small chest freezer we have to move still. Oh, and the big overstuffed chair which we're donating to the youth center, but that can't go until Monday.
I'm hoping we'll be done tomorrow. We had all kinds of rain tonight and we're supposed to have scattered storms all week, so we bought a tarp and we're going to try to finish up tomorrow. If not, we still have Monday so I'll just leave work as soon as my office hours are done and get to work finishing and cleaning.
I can't wait to be done and away from this place. The summer place is already feeling like home and being here among what remains of our unmoved belongings just makes me feel homesick and weary.
