I'm putting my resume in for a couple of jobs. There are a few more positions potentially opening soon in PEG access around NH. I'll be putting in for those, too. I think it's about time for change, unless my current employer can come up with something better. I can't keep living with no wiggle room. It always lands me in a sticky wicket.
I've been working through some emotional issues lately, but its nothing bad. It's actually quite good, even if a bit difficult to do at times. I'm finally getting through the crap I've been bottling up for a long time. Kathy and Melanie have been very patient, understanding and helpful in all of this. I'm not really going to get into it, neither here, in private mail nor in real life. I think I have a comfortable level of help on this right now. Just be sure that things are good and I'm working it out.
My truck rocks. I love you truck. For the first time in years I was able to drive from Plymouth to Manchester in under an hour. Fantastic!
I'm looking forward to next week. My family is having their first Thanksgiving meal at home in years and, while we don't really celebrate the holiday, we enjoy the opportunity to gather with family and express how grateful we are for what we have.
Food is wonderful, too.
Yeah, I need to lose weight. I know what I have to do. I simply have to motivate myself to get back on track. While I appreciate the concern my friends express, it would serve me and their concerns best if they weren't stated. It's just irritating and really only instigates my inner contentious, snot-nosed brat that says, "fuck you, I won't do what you tell me."
It's been a busy week. I've had a couple really long, tiring days so I'm giving myself a three-day weekend. Besides, I've already put in my hours for the week so I really shouldn't work anyway.
I should do a couple last things and then sleep. Good night.
