Apocalyptica and Silly

As Kathy and I were driving home from Concord today, Apocalyptica's cover of "One" came on the iPod, and Kathy insisted if I was going to sing the lyrics I had to sing them sweetly. So I sang along with the cellos in my best opera tenor voice. It was quite silly. Fun times!

I think the reason I love groups like Apocalyptica and Rasputina has a lot to do with cellos. They have such a beautiful mid-range that just draws the sorrow out of your soul. It makes me sad, which makes me happy.
