I like it! I am very envious of your guitaring ability...Sounds a lot like a nice Bach piece played on guitar, but with some very cool and different chords...

For what it's worth, I was kind of hearing it changing its tonal center - so, if the first time through the chords were A D E (we'll pretend this is Louie Louie ;) the next section could be C F G or something for example...
The old trick would be to play the same thing but in a major key starting a sixth above the root..the relative major...
I'm mostly self-taught on everything I play, though I did study music (focus: classical guitar) for two years in college before changing majors. Other than that, just a handful of piano, organ and voice lessons to learn proper technique and that's about it.
