During the day I was rather down. I had grand plans but lost interest when my day started rather crummy and with some interesting revelations about my self and my life. I ended up wasting my time sitting at the laundry but then Ray showed up with Doctor Who and a really cool game. We played Unspeakable Words, which is a Call of Cthulhu card game kinda like a cross between Scrabble and Rummy and Call of Cthulhu. We had a great time for the short while we had together and it helped brighten my day a bunch. Thanks Ray!
After that the glum set back in a bit but. I got to spend some time talking with Melanie and watching a baby lynx on Animal Planet. Then I got a surprise phone call. It was Ang! She had the night off after all and wanted to come up and hang out. Naturally the answer was... YES!!! Ang and I went for a lovely walk and had some nice conversation about all kinds of groovy things. It started to rain and we both enjoyed the scent of rainstorm in the air. Kathy got out of work and we decided to go do something. Melanie chose not to join us, which was kind of a bummer, but Ang, Kathy and I left to get food and go watch movies.
Tonight was just spectacular! We continued having a dinner like the past couple nights: abbeydale cheese, almonds, red grapes and sliced deli meat (tonight it was maple brown sugar ham). Monday night we had dubliner cheese. While snacking we decided to watch Office Space since Ang had never seen it. I love that movie! :) Seeker and Lonewolf came down for a visit, too, and showed off Seeker's new gift to Lonewolf. It was an... erm... interesting shaped pan. Lots of laughter and lewd conversation. We resumed Office Space and then watched an episode of Doctor Who (Blink). Thanks for coming to visit Ang! You have no idea how much you made my evening! ^_^
