I Heart Mika

I've switched radio stations recently to get some variety and I'm glad I did. I recently heard a new song by an upcoming artist that completely blew me away.

Mika is due to release his debut album next month and it is for me a must-buy. His vocal range and delivery is like Freddie Mercury meets Barry Gibb. In fact, I could have sworn at times it was Freddie singing. The song is "Grace Kelly" and I really love it. I'm looking forward to getting the album. ... That radio station wouldn't happen to be The River out of Boston, would it? They play Grace Kelly a -lot-, and I love that song. So much. And I'm with you on the Freddie Mercury thing. It's amazing.

It would in fact be The River where I first heard it. I've also noticed lately that the Planet has picked it up, but I prefer listening to The River.

I'm addddiiiiicted to The River lately. They're great.

No news on the check for gas money just yet, but I might just plain go up on Wednesday anyway since it's on its way and might be here Thursday. I want to hang out with you guys, dammit. :P
