Kathy just shared something with me:

She's been puzzled by why the cover art for Jim's Big Ego's album "They're Everywhere" looked so familiar. Then it hit her tonight. The scene in Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow when Totemkoff's robots first wander through the city, Polly yells, "They're Everywhere!" We wonder which influenced which or if it's just some really freaky coincidence. They both were released the same year. Hmmm...

Well Jim had his Uncle (who drew comics in the 50's) draw the cover if memory serves...plus since Sky Capt. came out last year and "They're Everywhere" was released in 2003 that if there was influence it could only go one way. Probably just a coincidence though.

Actually, the movie is listed with a copyright date of 2003, but also I know the guy who made the movie was working on it for years. But it's a very interesting coincidence if nothing else. It would be neat if the film producer was influenced by JBE, though! ;)
