Sore Wrist
Sep. 20th, 2007 03:57 pmI think I may have sprained my wrist (haha, no funny remarks from the peanut gallery kthxbai) in my sleep last night. I woke up and it was sore. Really sore. It still is and I don't think all the typing and video editing and other assorted tasks I've been doing today have done anything but make it worse. :(
Sorry for the sad excuse for the post. I'm alive and otherwise well. Okay, and a bit hungry.
And I don't need one other thing, except my dog. *woof* I don't need my dog.
EDIT:
Jesus suffering fuck.
It started this morning with just the wrist. As the day went on not only did I have the pain when I moved it but the pain was going up my forearm and there was a constant dull ache. Now the dull ache and pain is all the way up my arm.
We're not talking heart attack here. It's definitely a muscle pain. It is absolutely excruciating when I move, apply the slightest pressure or lift it higher than my waist. I think this is a first. I've sprained my ankles plenty of times. I've even sprained my glutes in a tennis injury. This is the first time I think I've ever sprained my wrist and it's my dominant hand. And I somehow did it in my sleep. It's a good thing I'm able to drive and eat with my left hand!
I think this will be one of those rare moments when I say bollocks to my "no pain meds" philosophy and pop some pills.
