New Mexico Trip: Day 2 - Sunday
Jul. 31st, 2005 11:59 pmI've included photos from the day. Click on the photos for larger versions. Unfortunately we didn't get all the photos because the camera went goofy on us halfway through the day. Pardon the poor quality, but we had to use the crappy old Kodak point-and-shoot and, well, I'm definitely not a good photographer. I've also put things behind cuts to save you a monster post all at once.
The day started with continental breakfast in the hotel lobby. I have to admit it was perhaps the best continental breakfast I've ever had. Most hotels at which I've stayed, the continental breakfast consisted of a few cheap pastries, donuts, toast, coffe and orange juice. This breakfast included bagels and/or with cream cheese or butter, donuts, a couple choices of cereal, fruit cocktail, oatmeal (which seemed absurd to me considering we were in a dessert climate), coffe, orange juice and apple juice.
After breakfast we went to the Albuquerque Biological Park, which includes the Albuquerque Aquarium, the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and the Rio Grande Zoo.
( at the aquarium )
( at the botanic garden )
( at the zoo )
( later in the day )
