Another Day
Mar. 9th, 2005 12:53 amLet me start by thanking everyone for their kind words of encouragement and support. I had a bit of a meltdown yesterday but with a good deal of sleep and a less stressful day I am feeling much better. Still a bit down but better for certain.
One little nagging thing in the back of my head that is really coming to the foreground more is the ever-shrinking times I get to spend at home. Now that it's town meeting season I'm so busy in town that I haven't really been home much. I'm usually out the door at 9am and don't make it back home until about midnight. I'm pretty much home just long enough to blog and sleep, and sometimes I don't even get to blog.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I get to hang out with Steve and Chenoa, see Blue Man Group, visit my parents and maybe visit Andy and Tara. That would be nice.
The drive home tonight was very scary. Driving on the interstate I went not much faster than 30 MPH. At times the wind was blowing up so much snow and with so much force that I had no visibility and was swerving all over the place. Thankfully we're home safe and sound with heat, electricity and our lives. And there was much rejoicing. Yay!
Wouldn't it figure that on one of the coldest nights this year we're eating ice cream. Weird.
