It looks as though in a couple days my woes of being a personal chauffeur for my fiance will be nearing an end. We saw a Chevy Cavalier for sale for $300 in Ashland. It looks to be in fairly good condition body-wise, with the exception of a couple rust spots. Supposedly it runs but is in desperate need of a tune-up. There may be other work necessary but for a first car I think it will do just fine. I checked it out under the car, under the hood, etc. I'll check it out a little more next time, hopefully starting it up and taking it for a little spin right on the garage's property. It'll be a good start that we can afford and it'll be fuel efficient with that little 2.8L 4 cylinder engine. And it's the kind of car she started learning on years ago. Perfect for her to practice and get her license.

Now let's hope it doesn't sell before Thursday and the guy has the title and it actually runs.
