Truck Sucks

I promise the weekend recap of awesome will be posted sometime tomorrow when I get a break from work. In the meantime, I just need to vent about the truck...

So Friday the truck decided to act a little wonky. The "Service Engine Soon" light came on and ciliandis was kind enough to look in the manual for it while I was driving. It seems there's something up with the emissions or ignition stuff and so the light is on. It went blinky which meant there was a misfire. *sigh* It's actually gotten worse and is misfiring ALOT, plus not really accelerating well at all or wanting to go very fast. The quirky thing is that once in a while it will kick in and run just fine, which is annoying.

I'm hoping it just needs a tune up. I haven't given it one in the year+ that I've owned it so it's definitely due. Bad plugs or plug wires would definitely cause these sorts of problems. I'm just hoping it isn't more serious like a head gasket or valve cover gasket or anything. I'm probably going to have to bring it in to the shop this week to have them look it over. Grrr.

So... quantumswordsmn... did you just recently get your car fixed? lol
